Liza and Ryan recently relocated from Asheville, NC to start the next chapter of their lives. Liza graduated from Daoist Traditions with a Masters degree in Chinese Medical Arts, and is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist. Ryan is a licensed massage and bodywork therapist, received an A.A.S. in Massage Therapy from MCTC, and a B.S. in Exercise Science from Brevard College. Together they offer an immense array of healing modalities to help with goals spanning the physical, emotional, mental, emotional, and energetic.

Massage & Bodywork
Massage sessions include the use of oil directly on the skin while Bodywork sessions are done fully clothed and without any oil. Sessions involve: Stretching, ROM, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Energy Work, Breath Work, Cupping, Gua Sha, Thai Massage, Shiatsu, Myofascial, Neuromuscular, Sports Massage, and Swedish Massage techniques as needed

I had the pleasure of going to the Hickory Healing House for the first time the other day. My massage was first, with Ryan. I was impressed by his bed side manor, listening skills and therapeutic touch! Being a woman, he was very intuitive about my feeling ‘safe’ to achieve the most out of my massage.
